We follow the CDC guidelines for cleaning the Little Yellow Cottages including:

DEEP CLEAN

We use soap and cleaning agents and water on all surfaces.

DISINFECT

We use bleach cleaning agents with a 5% to 9% sodium hypochlorite. We leave all surfaces wet for at least one minute (contact time) before wiping. This includes; tables, doorknobs, light switches, counter tops, handles, toilet, faucets, and sinks.

VENTILATION

We open all windows and doors during cleaning and for at least one hour after cleaning. We put exhaust fans on in the kitchen and bathrooms during cleaning and we put fans in the windows directing airflow out. We use Ceiling fans to improve airflow.

LINENS

We require our guests to bring their own sheets and pillowcases and blankets and towels.

TIME

We leave our Cottages vacant for at least one day between guests.
